CCSA
CCSA is the peak environment organisation South Australia (SA) to providing the nexus between community and government on environment issues, and to facilitate community aspiration to action. The site of the new Conservation Centre of SA is highly visible being located at one of the key entry intersections to the CBD of Adelaide and the building will represent a highly innovative and interesting elements to the current environment. The current centre hosts over 350 community meetings a year (the vast majority after regular business hours) and is limited through space and design.
The building itself will be considered an exemplar in the field of ‘green’ retrofitting - a ‘lean and green’ energy efficient building showcasing realised and cost effective ESD techniques and function. This is a ‘mixed-use’ demonstration project will educate and inspire the wider community.
