troppo+ARM shortlisted for $50m NT Museum project

Troppo with partners ARM, fellow AIA gold medallists, are one of 3 short-listed bids for this City and Territory significance. The project attracted interest from name international architects. We see it as offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bridge between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australia, to establish a project quadruple bottom line that will 'look after City, look after Country'. In 'workshopping' the scoping of the Museum, this can be a project by which the whole Territory community can come together, by reflecting on 65,000 years of culture that now sits shoulder-to-shoulder with more recent stories, always colourful, but often traumatic.
